Cancellation and refund policy

Last updated: 2026-02-07

This policy explains how cancellations, project changes, deposits, and refunds are handled for etnalandscaping. If anything in this policy conflicts with applicable law, the law prevails.

1. Quote requests vs confirmed work

  • Sending a quote request through our contact form does not create a confirmed booking or project commitment.
  • A project is considered confirmed only after scope, timing, and pricing are reviewed and accepted by both sides.

2. Estimates and project scope

  • Initial quotes are based on the information provided at the time of inquiry.
  • Final pricing may change if site conditions, project size, materials, access limitations, or requested scope differ from the original submission.
  • Any material change in scope will be discussed before work continues.

3. Rescheduling

  • If your project date needs to be changed, please notify us as early as possible.
  • Rescheduling is generally handled based on availability, weather conditions, crew scheduling, and material planning.

4. Cancellations

  • If work has not been confirmed and no deposit has been collected, you may cancel your request at any time.
  • If a project has already been scheduled or materials/labor have been allocated, cancellation may result in partial charges depending on the preparation already completed.

5. Deposits

  • Some projects may require a deposit to secure scheduling, materials, or both.
  • Deposit terms, if applicable, will be communicated before confirmation.
  • Refundability of a deposit depends on project stage, materials ordered, and costs already committed.

6. Refunds

  • Refunds are reviewed case by case.
  • Work already completed, labor already performed, or materials already purchased specifically for a project are generally not refundable.
  • If a refund is approved, it will be processed using a reasonable method and timeframe.

7. Weather, site access, and project conditions

Outdoor work may be affected by weather, grading conditions, access restrictions, utility issues, or other site realities that are outside normal control. In such cases, timing may shift and project recommendations may need to be adjusted.

8. Service concerns

If you have a concern about the work performed, contact us as soon as possible with the project details and, where helpful, photos of the area. We will review the concern and respond based on the agreed scope and actual site conditions.
